What is Laser Cutting?
“Laser cutting” refers to a technology that uses a high-powered laser to vaporize materials, resulting in a crisp, clean, cut edge. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser towards an awaiting material most commonly through optics. Laser optics and CNC (computer numerical control) are used to direct the laser beam to the material. Our lasers that we use for cutting materials utilize a motion control system that follows a programmed CNC or G-code of the pattern to be cut onto the material. The focused laser beam is directed at the material, which is then either melted, burned, or vaporized away, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish.
Why choose Laster Cutting?
Laser Cutting is a great option for creating intricate shapes out of challenging materials and allows for fast turnarounds with no tooling. Our high-grade laser cutting machines allow us cut materials with unmatched precision and speed. Once all materials have been cut, we have them looked over by one of our specialists to make sure the quality is up to par.
